Join the Federation

The Federation admits real estate development entities operating in Odisha. It presently has 56 member entities. Membership is a statement about conduct — and it is published where anyone can check it.

Process

How to apply

  1. Write to the Secretariat

    Send an expression of interest from the firm's official email, with the name of the entity, its registered address, and the individuals proposed as its representatives.

  2. Provide your particulars

    The Secretariat will ask for the entity's constitution documents, its RERA registration particulars where applicable, and details of ongoing and completed projects.

  3. Consideration by the governing body

    Applications are placed before the Office Bearers. Admission is a judgment about conduct and standing, not a formality.

  4. Admission and registration number

    On admission the entity is allotted a registration number in the ODFED-BBSR series and published on the public member register.

A note on the registration series

Registration numbers were allotted at the formation of the Federation in the form 002/ODFED-BBSR/2025 — a serial number, the Federation and its chapter, and the year of admission.

BBSR denotes Bhubaneswar, not the limit of the Federation. ODFed is a State-level body, constituted for real estate developers across Odisha. Bhubaneswar is simply where it began and where the largest number of projects and members are today. As developers from other cities of the State join, the series will extend to carry their own chapter codes.

The series also contains gaps by design. Numbers were reserved at formation for entities of the previous association that did not move across, and are held open should they wish to join later. A gap in the series is not a missing member.
